A single meal may seem small, but when hundreds—or thousands—of people make the same decision, those meals add up to meaningful support for Buda businesses. Eat Your Heart Out, Buda! turns everyday dining decisions into a community-wide celebration of the businesses that make Buda a great place to gather.

Look for any Buda business with the #EatYourHeartOutBuda window cling or any Buda restaurant, coffee shop, or place that serves food or beverages.

Eat Out. Eat Local. Twice a Week.

Eat Your Heart Out, Buda! is a community-wide campaign encouraging residents, visitors, friends, and families to show some love to Buda’s restaurants, coffee shops, and eateries by making a simple commitment:

Eat out locally at least twice each week.

Breakfast before work. Coffee with a friend. Lunch on Main Street. Tacos after the game. Date night downtown. Dessert just because.

However you do it, every local meal is an opportunity to support the businesses that help make Buda special.

Are You A Buda Food or Beverage Dining Business?

If you’d like to participate, you’re in! It’s that simple. If you’d like to let customers know, come by the Buda HIVE/Chamber of Commerce at 307 N San Marcos Street in Buda, TX and pick up your window cling, stickers, and instructions.

Promote your participation by posting “Eat Your Heart Out, Buda!” window cling so folks know to stop in.

Want to Support Local Businesses?

To be eligible for a promotional drawing, participants should:

Dine at an eligible participating Buda establishment during the campaign period.
Take a photo during their visit featuring the Eat Your Heart Out heart gesture, campaign signage or another recognizable element of the dining experience.
Post the photo publicly to an eligible social media platform.
Tag the participating business when possible.
Tag Buda EDC and/or Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce.
Include #EatYourHeartOutBuda.

Participating establishments could include:

Restaurants
Coffee shops and cafés
Bakeries
Food trucks
Dessert and specialty food businesses
Other qualifying locally operated food and beverage establishments

When Does the #EatYourHeartOutBuda program start?

Eat Your Heart Out, Buda! starts now.

Visit any Buda restaurant, eatery, food truck, beverage or wine bar, etc. and order a meal, drink, or snack. Take your picture with your ‘heart-hand’ gesture, and post to Facebook or Instagram. Tag the restaurant, BudaEDC, or Chamber and use the hashtag #EatYourHeartOutBuda. That’s it!

We will also have LIVE radio DJ hosts from KLBJ over the next few weeks promoting #EatYourHeartOut and interviewing restaurant owners. We will have promotional prizes and random drawings! You don’t want to miss out!!!
