Crewline, a construction robotics company, Establishes Headquarters in Buda, TX
Buda, TX, August 25, 2026 — The Buda Economic Development Corporation (Buda EDC) is proud to announce that Crewline, a construction robotics company, has established its headquarters at 13206 Wright Road in the Buda area.
Headquarters operations will span robotics, automation, engineering, and advanced manufacturing, Crewline represents the type of forward-thinking company contributing to the growing innovation ecosystem in the Buda area and strengthening the region’s position as a destination for companies developing next-generation technologies.
Crewline builds retrofit kits that let contractors’ existing heavy equipment run itself. The kit installs reversibly on a contractor’s own machine in about an hour, and the machine can still be run manually at any time. Earthworks contractors use the technology to meet the growing demand for construction across the Austin metro area and the wider state of Texas, allowing them to take on more work with the same crew. Crewline’s customers are earthworks contractors and general contractors running large earthwork projects, typically 10 acres and up.
Crewline’s headquarters occupies an approximately 15,000-square-foot building that houses a manufacturing line, office space, conference rooms, and a kitchen, alongside a two-acre testing yard adjacent to the office where machines are run and validated before deployment to customer job sites. To complete full installation of the engineering facilities, testing yard, and utilities at the Wright Rd location, $4.76 million was invested into the facility.
