Christie Pogue

Christie Pogue brings more than 15 years of experience in public policy and governmental relations to the Buda Economic Development Corporation Board. With a career dedicated to shaping and implementing Texas statutes and policies, she has served in key leadership roles at the Texas Education Agency, most recently as Director of Policy Development and State Board for Educator Certification Support. Christie’s expertise spans legislative processes, stakeholder engagement, and advising senior leadership and state officials on complex policy matters. She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and is deeply committed to advancing education, community development, and sustainable growth in Central Texas.
